Since its inception in 2020, Casey’s Cash for Classroom Grant Program has awarded over $2 million and nearly 200 grants to schools in the communities we serve throughout the Midwest, and we’re excited to continue our “Here For Schools” momentum in 2023!
Teachers, school administrators, parent-led groups, and community supporters are encouraged to apply for grants ranging from $3,000 to $50,000 to be put toward a variety of projects and initiatives like upgrading technology in classrooms, investing in playground equipment, purchasing supplies and resources, and funding engaging field trips.
The application deadline for Casey’s 2023 Cash for Classrooms grant program is November 30, 2022 – don’t delay, get your submission in!
At Casey’s, we want to help schools in our local communities, and by teaming up with you – our guests – we know we can positively impact schools, teachers, and children, ensuring a bright future.
Here’s a snapshot of some of the school projects and initiatives supported through Cash for Classrooms in 2022.
The parent-teacher organization at Mitchell Elementary is tasked with raising funds for everything from snow gear to books and classroom supplies to field trips. In 2022, Casey’s gifted $5,000 to the organization in support of field trips, which provide enriching, educational opportunities for students.
As athletic and fine arts programs expanded, it became evident that Riverfield Country Day School needed more space, and to accommodate the growth, Riverfield is building a new gymnasium and arts facility. Through the Cash for Classrooms Grant Program, Casey’s awarded $10,000 to help Riverfield fund its project.
St. Francis Area Schools was gifted $10,000 in 2022 to purchase decodable texts for kindergarteners and first graders. While teachers have expansive classroom libraries, teachers found the books to be too difficult for young students to read independently. The decodable texts help provide the support needed by students.
Casey’s Rewards members can get involved by donating their points to a school of your choice.
