Across the heart of America, Casey’s has been focused on making life better for our guests and communities through the pandemic response, and we’re able to do that every single day, thanks to our remarkable and dedicated partners.
Over the past two months, Casey’s team members and our partners have donated nearly 15,000 slices of pizza for healthcare workers, first responders, and local law enforcement across nine states. Beyond pizza, we’ve also shared sub sandwiches, donuts, cookies, cases of water, and cases of soda with those who are working tirelessly to help our communities through the pandemic response.
Blake Kohlbrecher, our partner at Constellation Brands said, “Along with Casey’s, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to provide to frontline workers. This is a small way to thank our true heroes – the frontline workers and first responders!”
Amanda Diers, Trade Sales Manager at our partner Atlantic Bottling, also reflected on joining up with Casey’s: “It was an honor to have the opportunity to partner with our local Casey’s to show our appreciation and give back to the healthcare heroes in our community.”
She added, “What we felt was a random act of kindness, meant so much more to them. To some it was a much-needed break, to others it was that relief from thinking about packing lunch and one nurse even commented on how she’s never felt more loved. All that was accomplished with a piece of Casey’s pizza and an ice-cold Coca-Cola.”
Each day, we see how more helping hands create stronger communities, especially when we work together. For that, we are beyond grateful for our partners and team members.
