It’s back-to-school season, and so is the Casey’s Cash for Classrooms round up at the register campaign!
In 2022, Casey’s guests helped raise $1 million for schools in their communities to support students and teachers. This year, we’re asking for your help again. Be #HereForSchools with Casey’s and considering rounding up your purchases at the register the next time you visit your local Casey’s store, or when you purchase pizza in the app.
Between August 2 through September 5, 2023, Casey’s guests can join the cause and round up their purchase(s) to the nearest dollar, or by adding a flat dollar amount to any purchase as a generous donation benefiting local schools and education initiatives in their communities and across the heartland.
Casey’s Cash for Classrooms Grants provide educational opportunities to students and funds to schools helping start or complete projects, from playgrounds to professional development for teachers to investment in technology to enrich the studies of our students – our future leaders – within our communities.
Learn more about the impacts of Casey’s and its guests through the Cash for Classrooms grant program and its annual round-up-at-the-register campaign, beginning August 2 until September 5 this year.
Bonnie Grimes Elementary School in Arkansas received a $50,000 grant to purchase and install an all-inclusive, ADA accessible playground, giving students of all abilities the opportunity to interact and play with their peers at school.
Casey’s has been able to provide grants that are inclusive to all students. In Omaha, NE, through Casey’s Cash for Classrooms program, Harry Andersen Middle School was awarded $13,000 of funding to install an in-ground Gaga Ball pit. This installment will allow students struggling with more traditional sports to excel, all while promoting physical activity.
Next time you stop by your local store, join us and be #HereForSchools with Casey’s. Starting today, you can round up your donation with thousands of other Casey’s guests to support students, teachers, and schools in our local communities – also during Casey’s Cash for Classrooms round-up campaign, happening August 2 through September 5.
These grants will be available to all public or nonprofit, private schools. Funding priorities include physical improvements, material needs, teacher support, and community engagement.
The 2023 grant application opens in October and is available here.
